Embracing 44:

A Journey of Self-Discovery, Boldness, and Unapologetic Joy

Today, I’m stepping into the radiant age of 44, and I couldn’t be more excited to share a slice of this journey with you all.

As I blow out my candles this year, I'm not just wishing for things; I'm celebrating the profound, beautiful truths life has revealed to me. 🎂

At 44, I’ve finally nestled comfortably into my own, older skin, embracing a life where the opinions of others are like passing clouds in my sunny sky—there, but not holding me back like they used too. I’ve learned that my heart is the most reliable compass I possess, guiding me through the vibrant tapestry of work, creativity, and the myriad of business adventures I’ve dared to embark on. You’ve been there with me, through them all, thank you!

This year has taught me about the transient nature of friendships, the ebb and flow of connections, and through it all, the greatest discovery has been learning to find solace, joy, and boundless love within myself. My many years of being alone has transformed from fear to my most cherished gift. Learning how to love myself, be kind to myself and comfortable in silence.

I often wonder what it would be like If I could sit down for a coffee with my 20-year-old self, I’d hold her hand and tell her with a gentle smile, “Darling, it’s absolutely fine not to have all the answers. Your heart and your gut are the most faithful guides you’ll ever need. Trust in them, and they’ll illuminate your path in love, work, and every friendship you cherish.”

Remember, the only things that truly matter are your happiness and health. Everything else is just scenery and perception on the spectacular journey of life. (I’ve learn’t that the past doesn’t exist anymore, because it’s gone, and that’s been a very hard lesson to swallow)

So, here’s to 44 – a year of living boldly, loving fiercely, and laughing louder than ever before. For my family and followers on my podcast and readers of my books and Ella’s friends who side me on the school run! , let’s make every moment count and remind ourselves that the best is always yet to come.
